Terms & Conditions
A deposit of $25 is required to reserve appointment date and time. This is non-refundable. The $25 payment can be paid by card via PayPal or Cash App. Due to the nature of the business your appointment date will not be secured until a deposit is paid and Alexys confirms payment via text/email. Your deposit will be deducted from the appointment day balance, which will be due the day of appointment. The day of your appointment I will only accept cash or Cash App.
Same Day appointments CAN NOT be booked online. Same Day appointments can only be made through Alexys via e-mail/text. Same Day appointments are not guaranteed, but if available, full payment must be made prior to appointment time. If the full payment is not made, you do not have an appointment time secured.
Travel fees Start at $20 but can increase or decrease depending on the return distance of travel required. Any applicable travel charges will be outlined at the time of the booking - any parking/toll/congestion charges will be added to the final balance. This amount specified in the quotation and is determined according to the location provided at the time of inquiry. If the location of the service changes after the agreed upon quotation is given and/or deposit is paid, the Artist reserves the right to adjust the travel feel if the distance is increased.
If you cancel within a 48 hour period prior to the appointment you will have the opportunity to transfer your deposit to another day. However your deposit will be lost if you cancel within a 24 hour period or fail to show to your scheduled appointment.
All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. by booking with online/text/email, Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, ALexys pelissier— Nu Look by Lex, from liability for any skin complications due allergic reaction.
in the event that photos are taken after or during appointment The Artist may use on its website and/or in any advertising media is deems appropriate that is capture by the Artist. The Client also agrees to release the name and contact information of professional photographers and/or videographers used for recording any event for which the Artist has been contracted to provide services for.
Client(s) will have a 10 minutes grace period from the scheduled time of application. However, the remaining time frame of the scheduled appointment is all that is left for the makeup application. After 15 minutes of being late, a fee of $20 will be applied to total.
Due to potential scheduling conflicts, if any person is not available for an appointed booking time and/or past 20 minutes late, then his or her makeup may be canceled (at the sole discretion of the makeup artist) and any appointment fees are non-refunded.
All terms and conditions stated above and written in personal correspondence with the client (via text/email) will apply, with or without a contract, unless the written contract states otherwise.
Pricing and details are subject to change with no notice, however if a contract has already been drawn out and signed reflecting former pricing, the contract quote will be honored. Updated pricing would apply for new bookings only.
In the event the Client fails to pay any periodic or installment payments due, the Artist may cease work without breach pending payment or resolution of dispute.
The Artist shall not be liable for any delay or non-performance due to circumstances beyond the Artist’s control.
The Artist is an independent contractor and not an employee of Client.
Any changes to this document must be agreed upon in writing by both the Artist and the Client prior to payment of the deposit by the Client.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and the Artist, and supersedes any prior understanding or representation of any kind preceding the date of this Agreement. There are no other promises, conditions, understandings or other agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter of this Agreement.By paying the deposit, the Client agrees that they have read and understand all the terms and conditions outlined above. The Client also understands that the Client will be financially responsible for self, along with bridal party and all deposit(s) made are non-refundable.
